Step 08 : Proving the safety and security would be fine
Milngavie is a very safe place to live in. There generally isn't much trouble, but we could sleep safely know that not only did Terence used to be a security guard at football matches, but we also have a police station here.

If the crowds proved far too hostile, then there would be the option of getting the fire service from the local fire station to hose them down.

An alternative approach would be to not have security at all. Any crowd trouble or misbehaving would be frowned upon by the community, and that's more than enough to prevent any skirmishes or protests.
