Canoeing has been part of the olympics since the 1936 Berlin games (Games of the XI Olympiad), and has been a largely German dominated sports ever since. I'd need to find a course that even they would struggle with. There are two disciplines of canoeing at olympic level: flatwater and slalom.
Location - Fish Pass on the Allander River
Canoeing : Imagine watching all the German gold medalists from 4 years before (Games Of The XXXI Olympiad) stuggle to make it down the salmon ladder and negotiate their way around gates and the occassional shopping trolley going under Tesco on the Allander River, only to see the local salmon beat them since they know the course like the back of their fin. Now I need to check if there are any rules stopping fish from competing and olympic level.
